I love Haida art. If you don’t know what that is, it’s art from native north Americans from the pacific northwest. We can make our own Haida art in MidJourney. Let’s start with a prompt
Prompt: Haida art
This is really good. I could almost render out version 4. Let’s add the thunderbird to the prompt.
Prompt: Haida Art, thunderbird
These also look really good. Let’s add in the word ornate and 32k.
Prompt: Haida Art, thunderbird, ornate, 32k
Re-roll
Let’s add another command. I liked the first versions where they are mostly black and red. Let’s see what comes out.l
Prompt: Haida Art, thunderbird, ornate, 32k, mostly black and red
Let’s make versions of version 3.
I like version 4 so let’s upscale it.
I think this is a very nice result. Keep in mind that you could probably put in just Haida art 5 or 6 times and get some unique results. Also, keep in mind that we used the word ornate which will give slightly different results than just a regular render.
I typed in Haida art and got this.
I think version 3 looks quite good. Here are the variations
I like version 3 the best. It looks the most uniform of all of them.
I think this looks better. You have to ask yourself, what was the point of doing the first part? Well, the big advantage of MidJourney is that you get to test different styles. Sometimes progress doesn’t go in a straight line. This happens outside of MidJourney and AI production as well. If you’re rapid prototyping, version 4/10 might be the best prototype. Perhaps I should write a post on prototyping and how to best use it.
