Putting an object in another in MidJourney. A tree in a diamond.

With MidJourney, you can easily make abstract images and art. The best part is that you can get results that you never thought possible. This is one of the best parts about working in MidJourney. As usual, let’s start with a prompt.

Prompt: A tree inside a diamond

This is a great start, basically exactly what I asked for. We can add a few things to make this look better. First, let’s add the word detailed in front of the word tree.

Prompt: A detailed tree inside a diamond

This is better than the first render but we need to be somewhere interesting. Let’s put this subject on Mars.

Prompt: A detailed tree inside a diamond on Mars, detailed background

It’s not the best but the diamond isn’t as good as I would like it to be. It’s also viewed from a cave. Let’s see if we can fix that. Let’s also remove the detailed background.

Prompt: A detailed tree inside a highly detailed diamond on Mars

Version 4 looks the best I think the tree looks the best of all of them. It’s the sand dunes which I like the most. We could make the aspect ratio different to put the diamond in the middle of a bigger picture. However, I have been wrangling with perspective in MidJourney all week. It’s quite challenging. For now, let’s just go with the square aspect ratio. Let’s upscale it and see what happens.

I chose this variation because the sand was pushed around in a circle around the subject. I also think everything in the image has good proportions. The only issue I see is that the tree is outside of the diamond. Either way, I still think it looks great.
