How to Make a Photorealistic Modern Cabin in MidJourney

This is one of my favorite kinds of images to make. Let’s take it a step further this time.

Let’s start with the first prompt.

Prompt: A modern west coast house in the mountains next to a lake

This is a really good start but with all MidJourney images, there is always much more we can do. Let’s add more light and more detailed backgrounds.

Looks great. It’s always good to start with a vague prompt and move up the detail. I like the houses with pointed tops. So let’s add that in.

I also liked it when there were lots of trees in the background so we should add that as well. We’ll also add in the –ar 16:9 parameter. This will make it 16:9 aspect ratio. I will also add in Photorealism.

This is starting to get somewhere. Let’s add in the –quality 5 parameter and the 32k parameter.

I think the first one is the best, so let’s make 4 variations by pressing V1.

Variations

I think version 3 is the best. Let’s make one final render.

I think this turned out just right. One thing I really like is the dock and boat at the bottom. I didn’t even ask for it and I love it.
